Not so easy

It seems hard to find employment in Tokyo nowadays due to the recession. I went to Hello Work, a job counseling center in Shinjuku, a couple of days ago. Unfortunetly they had nothing to offer. They seem to have a new policy. If you’re not fluent in Japanese, they try to avoid providing a job for you. It is hard enough to get a job even if you are Japanese, so I guess I’m out of luck. I will do my own job hunting from now on.

I will give it a try to get into the translation business. I’m pretty much fluent in English and Swedish, so I figure that it shouldn’t provide to much of a hassle for me. Hopefully in the future I will be able to do Japanese translations, too.
